March begins

We have had a lot of fun the last few weeks.  A&C ended up being down for a week.  Cora and Leah had lots of time to hang out.  They went to my parents and found some treasures for their houses.  Did some grocery shopping, house organizing, made dinners, played games, went bowling and had a blast together.
Blake finally got a hair cut.  I had wanted him to cut it before Leah's wedding but he didn't want to yet.  It was starting to bug him and off he went.
What a handsome lad.

Blake had his league finals. He was an All Star winner.  He was quite surprised by the win. When we explained to him all that went into it he was more surprised and very pleased.

Next up was zones.  A&C were still here so everyone was able to come.  My dad, Cannon, Nicole, and Myrna also were able to watch him.  Again a fun little fan club for Blake.  He played well and had fun.  Going in they had no expectation of winning against this team.  They did much better then they thought. He wanted to have fun, play hard. play his best and enjoy his last high school basketball game.  All exactly what he did.

Avery was across the court watching his high schools game for YM.  He and Blake were texting on the way and discovered they were both going to be there.  Avery went back and forth watching both games.  I had wanted a picture with Gilbert as well, but he left to soon.

We were given some gift cards to The Keg for Christmas and were able to use some this past week.  Blake and I zoomed down right after work and met Dave.  It was a great meal and it was nice to go out.
Basketball is over and I am going to miss it a lot.  I have loved every minute of basketball season.
Leah started her job and is enjoying it.  We have the announcements and thank you card and Leah is getting right on working on those.  She loves writing and I think is really enjoying doing all the thank yous.  She had always been great a little thoughtful notes for people.  It is fun having them close by and Ammon and Cora seem to make it down often enough.  Hard to believe that in a few short months it will be just Dave and I left at home.
