Dave and Blake have been getting in as much skiing as they can. Cora and Leah have been snowboarding again and really enjoy it. Have done a couple more winter hikes and some more skiing as well. They are enjoying it being warmer, and said spring skiing is awesome. In the last part of February, Dave decided it was time to start working on the Pontiac again. We have hauled this around since we got married and worked on it from time to time. Dave said that his Dad always said they should fix it up when Dave was 16. Now that Blake is almost 16, Dave decided it really needed to be done. It has taken many many hours already of just cleaning out mice nests, and getting everything out so they can start building back up. If they are not skiing, in their spare time, they are working on this car. And loving every minute of it.
Leah started school. She is in the ophthalmic assistant program at NAIT. She is doing well and liking it so far. It is all online and she can do it at her own pace. Just has to have certain modules done by test dates. Her course will be done the end of August. The institute has opened back up and the girls have been spending some time there again. Leah got a second job, she will be a hostess as Moxie's.
Cora's school is also going well. She has had some extra things to work on and submit as she figures out her program for the fall. In April Cora will be moving out to BC for 2 months and working on the temple. She is super excited about that. It is one of the things she has been wanting to do for years. She will be boarding with a lady in the ward out there. The company she is working for takes care of food, transport, and room, plus she gets paid. It is manual labor that she loves. Possibly the only girl on the crew. Such a great opportunity for her.
