I was waiting to blog September until Blake got me a picture of him and Tallie at school, but I guess that is not going to happen....so September....Blake and Tallie started back at university:) They are enjoying classes and meeting people.
But let's go in order. It was rather an uneventful month.
1. We were able to book tickets for the SL temple open house. I am excited to go and see it.
2. Had our ward corn bust. Twas a success as usual.
6/7. Hatch's came out to hang out with us. Cora was finishing a quilt for Justin and Emma. She has such a talent. She just thinks up these designs or sees a picture and can make it all come out beautiful. It was still beautiful weather. Jane got all her animals out and made sure they were fed.
9. Back to school
12/13. Stake Conference. Good messages, good times. Nothing much to report.
19. Youth baptism. I went and grabbed some thing from the distribution center and then walked over to my parents to visit. I had made each of the kids a paper bag lunch to eat on the temple lawn quick after. I was not at my parents long when Dave text to say they were done. I was surprised it was so quick. I had to boot it back to get the lunches out.
Picked up a few extra days at the clinic this month.
26. The girls and I went to Calgary to thrift and get stuff for Leah's baby. She had just found out she was having a boy. We all let her know what we were looking for a few weeks before we went. Leah found all the items we had listed and stores we wanted to check out. She made out a route and even narrowed down some jeans shopping for myself to make it as painless as possible. I don't enjoy shopping. She always does such a great job at that. She does a lot of research before we go and likes to drive. The rest of us just hang out and follow along. We each got to every store we wanted. Found some great stuff. Had lunch as Chick fil a and a Starbucks for the way home. It was a very long day. Poor Rhoda was very done not being able to freely move about. Blake hung out with Dave while we were gone.
27. Leah took our family pictures. Can't wait to see them. She is usually pretty quick about getting them back, so shouldn't be long.
And that is it. Pretty boring month, but still good times and some fun.
